This September, 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø celebrated the completion of the NEXT/NOW capital campaign that has raised nearly $24M for scholarships, facilities, and academic program support. Part of this celebration included inviting 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø alumni like Patrick Miller of FAILE to create limited-time art installations on 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø's main campus. The weekend of celebrations began on September 14 as donors were welcomed to campus to view the newly completed facilities. MFA students Jonathan Aller '18, Maria Castillo '18, '18, and '18, were invited to display their work and mingle with donors as they arrived for the special donor event. On September 16, 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø welcomed the Twin Cities community and beyond to campus for a party full of 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø welcomed everyone in the Twin Cities community and beyond to campus for a party. To show thanks in true 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø fashion, attendees of the NEXT/NOW celebration event were able to participate in an array of unique art-inspired experiences.
