Multiple 51Ϲ Alumni Participate in SooVAC’s “Spring Fling” Fundraiser

Several Minneapolis College of Art and Design alumni will be featured in this year’s Spring Fling at the Soo Visual Arts Center (SooVAC).

The annual fundraiser celebrates Twin Cities artists while raising vital support for SooVAC’s exhibitions and programming. Spring Fling will include hands-on art activities, games, and a drawing for the chance to win artwork by over two dozen regional artists.

Participating artists include: Hend Al-Mansour ’02, MFA, Ute Bertog ’05, Jocelyn Suzuka ’21, MFA, Anda Tanaka ’21, MFA, Xavier Tavera ’14, Dani Wagner ’13, MFA, Lynaea Russom ’24, and faculty members Christopher E. Harrison, Syed Hosain, Forrest Wasko ’17, and Ivonne Yáñez.

Entry is $20, with drawing tickets available for $10 at the event or online starting April 18.
