Faculty member and Minneapolis-based artist Luis Fitch gave a shoutout to 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø in his recent feature in AFAR Travel Magazine, Minnesota's Best Museum's According to Latinx Artist Luis Fitch.

Fitch, while speaking about 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø's neighbor, the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia), he had this to says, "Not only is it two blocks away from our office, but it is also next door to 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, one of the largest and most famous design schools in town." Fitch also mentioned that he often enjoys spending his Saturday mornings at the 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø library.
