Luis Fitch

Previously a member of 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø's faculty, Luis Fitch, is chair of the State Emblems Redesign Commission. In addition, Fitch's solo show Deconstructing the Minnesota Flag: A Design and Branding Exploration opened on October 12 at North Hennepin Community College's gallery.

Fitch states that “there’s a great opportunity to represent the state of Minnesota in a new way, better than what we have right now". As of Tuesday, December 12, the state flag panel has decided on three finalists for designs.
