Anda Tanaka Shares Time at Emerging Artist Program

Anda Tanaka ’22, MFA shares her wonderful experience under St. Olaf’s Emerging Artists Program. During her time in the program, she majored in music and studio art before going on to complete her MFA at 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø and apprenticing at Highpoint Center for Printmaking.

Tanaka wound up returning to St. Olaf to teach printmaking and drawing. She cites that the Emerging Artist Program is what prepared her for the world of professional art and gave her the connections and skills needed to thrive in it.
