August 08, 2022 Image Daren Hill ’17, Precious N. Wallace ’17, Emma Eubanks ’18, and Noah Lawrence-Holder ’17 all helped work on designing art for the redevelopment of the Coliseum Building. The Coliseum Building, which was used as a center for BIPOC businesses, was left destroyed after the George Floyd protests in 2020. Seward Redesign is working with many local artists to turn the historic building into a hub for Black-owned businesses. Wallace, Hill, Eubanks, and Lawrence-Holder are all working to create scenes of strength and resilience painted onto the sides of the historic building.
