Ta–Couma Aiken ’74 has recently been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship.

Each year, the Guggenheim Foundation awards approximately 175 fellowships to individuals making their mark in the social sciences, the natural sciences, the humanities, and the creative arts. Aiken is a local artist, artist administrator, educator, and community activist who mainly focuses on public art and collaborative paintings.
