The Other Is the Mirror of the Self

The Other Is the Mirror of the Self is a collective exhibition featuring 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø international students who, after removing themselves from the comfort of their native countries, cultures, and languages, happen to live and work in Minneapolis. As evidenced in their work, on a daily basis they must navigate cultural identities and deal with issues of miscommunication.

The aim of the show is to empower a multicultural community of unique, hybrid perspectives and give it a platform to open the dialog with a larger public, connect with more stories, and possibly help others navigate being the “other.â€
