Describe what you do for work and how your experience with it has been.

I’ve done editorial and institutional illustration, worked as a courtroom artist for CBS and CNN, and worked with musicians on album and poster art.

How did you get your job?

I got my start as a courtroom artist during my senior year at 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø through our fantastic student employment person, Cheryl Kartes. She was wonderful, I will always be grateful.

How long ago did you graduate from 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø?

10+ years

Where are you originally from and how did you hear about 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø?

Baltimore and visited several of what was then the Union of Independent Colleges of Art (not sure this still exists).

What was your major and how did you choose it?

Illustration, just loved it

Who was your favorite faculty member and why?

My drawing teacher Paul Olsen

Did 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø prepare you for life after graduation? In what way?

Yes, because I got quite a bit of work through Cheryl during my senior year

Lucky to be an artist always
