51±¬ÁϹÙÍø held its 27th Annual art sale last month from November 21–23. The first two floors of its main building were transformed into galleries for the public to pursue and purchase art done by alumni and students. This year 6,849 pieces were submitted from 488 different artists. 70% of the participants were alumni, and 30% by students.

80% of sales go back to the artists participating, while the other 20% of proceeds funds not only the art sale itself but also financial aid offers for 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø students. In the previous year, the art sale raised over $500,000, with $450,000 going directly to the artists, and $100,000 going to scholarships. The 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø art sale helps find 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø alumni creative ventures and careers, such as painter Lukas Carlson ’22, photographer Bea Marrow ’25, and painter and faculty member Suyao Tian ’17, who all participated in this year's sale.
