Describe the work you submitted for merits.

My furniture that was included in the Merit Scholarship was a collection of minimalist and modern wood and metal furniture.

Why did you decide to come to 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø?

I chose 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø because of its national reputation and the art and design community in Minneapolis

What's next for your practice? Anything you're really excited to make?

I want to move my practice forward by using more computer aided design tools

Favorite thing about college life (so far)?

My favorite thing about 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø is the community of 3D makers I’ve become close with in the past year.

What inspires you?

Design that lasts through time

Do you have a favorite piece you've made? Describe it!

My favorite creation is my 3-Piece Desk Lamp. I think it’s a good example of my general design style

Anything you're obsessed with at the moment?

Jean Prouvé. An iconic French furniture and industrial designer.
