Art and Design Teacher at Minnetonka High School

Jonathan Maki teaches art & design at Minnetonka High School. He teaches classes such as Darkroom Photography, Painting, Comics, Ceramics, Graphic Design, and Design & Marketing at VANTAGE. VANTAGE is a unique program within Minnetonka High School where students work with a project team to solve real-world problems with real world companies. Prior to teaching at the high school level, he taught K-5 art for 17 years. In the years of teaching, he has played roles as a department chairperson, art events coordinator, seminar leader for teachers and administrators on fostering creative thinking, and even product development. Maki has been teaching at 51±¬ÁϹÙÍø’s Summer Kids Studio program since 2013.
