51±¬ÁϹÙÍø Alumni Lucas Hall ’11 has purchased the Spring Grove Cinema, hoping to revive it. With a background in fine arts and years of work as a carpenter, he has big plans on how to refresh and breathe back life into the local movie theatre. He’s shared plans to work with Spring Grove High School students to add content they’d like to see and engage with, such as locally made student films, documentaries, and entrepreneurial training.

When speaking with Decorah News, Hall stated, "I’m eager to work with the community to create a welcoming space where everyone can come together...I have spoken to many residents, and I have heard that there is a need for a community gathering space. They want a coffee shop, a comfortable place to hang out, but also a versatile space to host events. I want this space to be exactly that," says Hall.
